It was the letters and condolences of friends and fans that were crying out with the same feeling of loss, love, sadness and yes, even anger that consumed my whole being.

These letters were searching for information of His music, asking for memorabilia, anything that would still give them "the Man" whose music represented the mystery of romance and love.

I so identified with these letters for I too was his fan, his #1 fan! I never stopped thinking or feeling toward him differently, as a matter of fact many times while he performed , I had forgotten that he was my husband.

Suddenly I had a new strength a feeling of obligation that I must answer this request. This turned me in to a missile, an unguided one, confused yet powerful, and never taking "No" for an answer! I was totally energized, after all, this was a chance to give his life's work a New Life, a life in to eternity.

This is how Sergio Franchi Music Scholarship Foundation was founded, and I want to thank you for giving me the incentive and strength to do this work. To prolong forever Sergio and his love for music through young voices of the future.

I will work toward this cause with all my heart and soul as long as God gives me the strength and as long as I have your support.

Together we’ll not only keep Sergio’s memories alive but because of us Romantic Classic Music will live, forever to be enjoyed by generations to come!
